Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength contains the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), diclofenac diethylamine. Diclofenac diethylamine works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). The technology in Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength helps the gel to penetrate deeply into the skin to deliver diclofenac diethylamine to the site of pain. Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength can be applied twice daily (morning and evening) to last up to a day.

The gel is absorbed through the skin and creates a reservoir of diclofenac diethylamine under the skin when applied regularly, from where the drug is released slowly over the course of time for the relief of pain and inflammation.

Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength is indicated for the relief of aches and pain associated with acute, localized minor muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains or sports injuries (e.g.ankle sprain, shoulder strain, or back muscle pain).

Voltaren FAQS

Is Voltaren a painkiller or anti-inflammatory?The Voltaren gel and tablets deliver diclofenac sodium, which is a nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) which can help get through your skin to the root of your pain and inflammation. It is both a painkiller and anti inflammatory drug that can provide pain relief.

What is Voltaren best for? This depends on the type of Voltaren product you've chosen to best meet your needs. The diclofenac sodium is in the Voltaren gel and tablets, which means you can get fast and effective pain relief.

The topical diclofenac gel found in Voltaren allows you to gently rub the gel into the affected areas, providing significant pain relief. Topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (or topical NSAIDS) allow you to directly apply the gel to the affected pain area.

This means that it can be best used to temporarily relieve arthritis pain, muscle pain and more. The diclofenac sodium is also found in Voltaren tablets, which means it is an oral NSAIDS, and is one of the most commonly used treatments for pain relief and inflammation.

However, they may not be suitable for everyone, so it's important to read the label, check the package leaflet and speak to your doctor or Pharmacist before introducing Voltaren into your daily pain management routine.

Can I use Voltaren while pregnant? As Voltaren contains the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac sodium, it's recommended that you don't use topical NSAIDS or oral NSAIDs while pregnant as it can impact your unborn baby.

What are some side effects of Voltaren? The side effects of Voltaren can include stomach pain, headache, dizziness, chest pain, kidney disease, and more.

The main ingredient in Voltaren gel is diclofenac sodium. If you've never encountered this ingredient before, you could have a severe allergic reaction to this product.

Signs of an allergic reaction include having trouble breathing or severe dizziness, and you should immediately get medical attention.

It's recommended that you speak to your doctor or Pharmacist before introducing anti-inflammatory drugs to your pain management routine.

You can also try using topical aspirin to prevent a cold from occurring and take an oral aspirin (OTC) daily to prevent further irritation.

Poncis can occur as well, although this usually doesn't bother you as it's painless.

At first, anti-inflammatory drugs didn't do any harm for anyone; however, if you're having trouble getting an erection, you may be recommended to try an oral aspirin daily. If it's been a while, Poncis can be managed by taking oral aspirin daily.

By non-thinning the gel can be effectively used to pain reliever/fever reducer's without any additional side effects.

As with any medication, you should monitor your symptoms- especially if you feel Likes to be loth than be drowsy or dizzy. But don't stop using Voltaren; use the Voltaren gel and tablets effectively- to get the pain control you need- and permanently relieve arthritis pain.

Topical NSAIDS are usually enough to cause severe side effects- including stomach pain, headache, dizziness, chest pain, kidney disease, and more.

If you don't notice any relief after a week or so, don't worry, you'll have a long-term problem. If you're worried, do your entire treatment plan in your head, including your underwear and covers, with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and oral aspirin.

Speedy pain relief is essential as Voltaren contains the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac sodium, which is an inflammatory drug. You can get pain relief by applying the gel to the affected area once a day for a few days. Voltaren works both locally and systemically- the medication is applied to the skin twice a day, which means you can safely use it on a daily basis.

To fully understand how Voltaren works, it's important to understand how your body should react to a medication. Your body releases a chemical called cyclooxygenase (that reducts the production of inflammation) in response to an injury.

Voltaren(diclofenac sodium) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) available over the counter and is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis or Still's disease), ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain, and periodontal disease. It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Voltaren works by inhibiting the activity of enzymes responsible for the production of prostaglandins, leading to an increase in the production of these chemicals.

How does it work? Voltaren belongs to a class of drugs known as NSAIDs. It is used to treat pain, inflammation, and swelling, and also to relieve menstrual pain and pain, which is caused by arthritis.

How long does it take for Voltaren to work?
